Mike Lange brings a unique perspective to music production, having journeyed from running 2Asides Records in NYC to a remarkable creative rebirth. After founding his label in 2005 and producing remixes for Paul Oakenfold / Perfecto, Tila Tequila, Girls on Film, and RuPaul alongside artists like Steve Porter, Hattaris, DJF (Jeff Straw), Macutchi, Smoker Keepers and others. Mike took a hiatus from the music industry in 2011.

Fifteen years of being this dude then a life-changing brush with death (liver failure) became the catalyst for his return to music—but this time, with a novel idea. Learn an instrument! Dedicating himself to the piano just a year ago, Mike channeled his renewed passion into "House Cleaning Music," his debut album produced under his artist name Motekim, mastered by Jesse Skeens (Medway).
