Mike Lange founded 2Asides Records in NYC in 2005, releasing and remixing for Paul Oakenfold/Perfecto, Tila Tequila, Girls on Film, RuPaul, Steve Porter, Hatiras, DJF (Jeff Straw), Ali Kay, Macutchi, Smoke Keepers and others.

After a 14 year hiatus from the industry, near‑fatal liver failure and a new found love for playing the piano, Mike started to write some brand new EDM.

In late 2024, Mike wrote “House Cleaning Music in F Minor”—mastered by Jesse Skeens (Medway). He releases as Motekim, a nod to a “launch code” from the 1980s game Wasteland. He’s seeking artist collaborations, label releases, remixes, and production work.
